We are already smack dab in the middle of June and that can only mean one thing: July is right around the corner. With a new month on the horizon, let’s take a look forward at what new summer blockbusters are on the way to the big screen and/or top streaming services. From those loveable, yellow Minions to a god-hating serial killer and the battle of the Chris’s, here are the new movies dropping in July.
Minions: The Rise of Gru| July 1

Thor: Love and Thunder | July 8
Synopsis: Thor enlists the help of Valkyrie, Korg and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster to fight Gorr the God Butcher, who intends to make the gods extinct.
The Sea Beast | July 8 (Netflix)
Synopsis: When a young girl stows away on the ship of a legendary sea monster hunter, they launch an epic journey into uncharted waters – and make history to boot.
The Gray Man | July 15 (Netflix)
Synopsis: When the CIA’s most skilled operative-whose true identity is known to none-accidentally uncovers dark agency secrets, a psychopathic former colleague puts a bounty on his head, setting off a global manhunt by international assassins.
Nope | July 22
Synopsis: The residents of a lonely gulch in inland California bear witness to an uncanny and chilling discovery.
DC League of Super-Pets | July 29
Synopsis: Krypto the Super-Dog and Superman are inseparable best friends, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime side by side in Metropolis. However, Krypto must master his own powers for a rescue mission when Superman is kidnapped.
Vengeance | July 29
Synopsis: A radio host from New York City attempts to solve the murder of a girl he hooked up with and travels down south to investigate the circumstances of her death and discover what happened to her.
