Last night was the Critics’ Choice Awards, the ceremony where every film critic who is somebody come together to honor the year that just was in film. The Critics’ Choice Awards are mostly important for your Oscar pool because no other organization has a better track record for accurately predicting that year’s Academy Award Winners. It’s a bit of an odd statistic, seeing is how nobody who votes for the Critics’ Choice Awards actually votes for the Oscars.
