A new month means a fresh slate of – you guessed it – new movies! While Scream provided January with a much-needed bump to kick off the box office year, the rest of the month had nothing to offer. Fortunately, February has a bit more up its sleeve. A bit of action, and some horror with a side helping of romance. There are even a few films dropping exclusively on streaming. Let’s take a look at some of the most noteworthy films releasing this month:

Moonfall | Feb. 4

Synopsis: A mysterious force knocks the Moon from its orbit around Earth and sends it hurtling on a collision course with life as we know it.


Jackass Forever | Feb. 4

Synopsis: After 11 years, the Jackass crew is back for their final crusade.


Marry Me | Feb. 11

Synopsis: Music superstars Kat Valdez and Bastian are getting married before a global audience of fans. But when Kat learns, seconds before her vows, that Bastian has been unfaithful, she decides to marry Charlie, a stranger in the crowd, instead.


Death On the Nile | Feb. 11

Synopsis: While on vacation on the Nile, Hercule Poirot must investigate the murder of a young heiress.


Blacklight | Feb. 11

Synopsis: Travis Block is a government operative coming to terms with his shadowy past. When he discovers a plot targeting U.S. citizens, Block finds himself in the crosshairs of the FBI director he once helped protect.


Cosmic Dawn | Feb. 11

Synopsis: After witnessing the alien abduction of her mother as a child, Aurora joins the UFO cult “The Cosmic Dawn”. Now moved on from the cult, Aurora is forced to confront her past and pursue the ultimate truth about The Cosmic Dawn.


Uncharted | Feb. 18

Synopsis: The story is a prequel to the games, starring Holland as a younger Drake, showing us details of how he came to meet and befriend Sully.


Dog | Feb. 18

Synopsis: Briggs who, alongside his companion Lulu, a Belgian Malinois haul ass down the Pacific Coast in time to catch their best friend’s and handler’s funeral. One of them has a week to live, the other lives like every day is his last.


Texas Chainsaw Massacre | Feb. 18 (Netflix)

Synopsis: After nearly 50 years of hiding, Leatherface returns to terrorize a group of idealistic young friends who accidentally disrupt his carefully shielded world in a remote Texas town.


The Cursed | Feb. 18

Synopsis: In rural 19th-century France, a mysterious, possibly supernatural menace threatens a small village. John McBride, a pathologist, comes to town to investigate the danger — and exorcise some of his own demons in the process.


No Exit | Feb. 25 (Hulu)

Synopsis: During a blizzard and stranded at an isolated highway rest stop in the mountains, a college student discovers a kidnapped child hidden in a car belonging to one of the people inside.


A Madea Homecoming | Feb. 25 (Netflix)

Synopsis: Madea’s back hallelujer. And she’s not putting up with any nonsense as family drama erupts at her great-grandson’s college graduation celebration.


Studio 666 | Feb. 25

Synopsis: Legendary rock band Foo Fighters move into an Encino mansion steeped in grisly rock and roll history to record their much anticipated 10th album.


Cyrano | Feb. 25

Synopsis: Too self-conscious to woo Roxanne himself, wordsmith Cyrano de Bergerac helps young Christian nab her heart through love letters.
