It’s that time of the year again where each of the different professions that make up the filmmaking industry announce the nominees for their individual awards ceremonies. On Wednesday, the Screen Actors Guild, which honor some of the year’s best television and film performances by actors, made it known who/what will be in contention for the 28th annual SAG Awards. Before we get to the list of nominees, however, it’s worth nothing that SAG breaks up their awards by television and feature films. This being largely a movie blog, this post will focus exclusively on the feature film division. If you’re interested in checking out the list of television nominees, feel free to hit up the link at the end.
The SAG ceremony will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS from The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California on at 8 p.m. EST / 5 p.m. PST on February 27.
