Jordan Peele is one of the most exciting filmmakers working today. His films have become high-profile events. So, when the Get Out director casts the leads for his upcoming project, we have to take notice.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Peele has done just that. Actor and recording artist Keke Palmer has officially signed on star in the picture. Meanwhile, Daniel Kaluuya, who famously earned an Oscar nod for his performance in Peele’s first directorial effort Get Out, is currently in negotiations to star opposite Palmer.
Of course, details for the project are being kept secret, but Peele once again wrote the script and is directing and producing. Ian Cooper of Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions is also producing.
The currently untitled movie already has a release date of July 22, 2022.
