We’ve been tapping our feet for a couple of weeks but now there seems to be some good news regarding Netflix’s Stranger Things.
Production Weekly is reporting that the streaming giant is gearing for a fourth season of the hit show. Moreover, the report suggests that Stranger Things 4 is slated to begin production this October. If true, the new episodes would be up to watching come winter 2020 or spring 2021.
It’s important to note that despite the report, Netflix has yet to officially renew the show for a fourth season and the service has a history of cancelling shows after their third season. However, should this news come to pass, it’s likely that Stranger Things co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer would return to direct a handful of episodes, as will series producer Shawn Levy, with most, if not all, of the cast expected back.
What do you make of this report? Does it make you any more optimistic about the chances of a renewal? Or are you not sold until we hear official word from Netflix? Sound off in the comments below and let me know your thoughts!
