Slasher fans rejoice! A follow-up to The Collector and The Collection is on the way.
Franchise star Josh Stewart teased fans Thursday when he tweeted out a poster for the upcoming third film in the series, with the caption “Lock your door.” That same day, BloodyDisgusting confirmed the news.
The site also affirms that Marcus Dunstan is returning to direct the picture, which presumably will pick up where the last film left off.
If you’re not familiar with the series, it follows a professional burglar named Arkin (Stewart) who has an unfortunate encounter during an otherwise routine break-in with a mysterious masked killer who fancies rigging up elaborate and brutal traps and literally collects his victims, be they dead or alive.
The first film in the franchise, The Collector, grossed a respectable $9.4 million at the box office while The Collection fell to $6.8 million.
