After much anticipation and speculation, Avengers: Endgame tickets officially went up for pre-sale Tuesday morning. It’s no secret, however, that a lot of people are having difficulty getting their hands on some.

The incredible demand for Endgame tickets quickly resulted in a run on the box office. Unfortunately, some websites were not prepared for the huge influx in traffic. AMC Theaters in particular has been forcing many eager moviegoers to wait upwards of hours just to secure their seats online. Others can’t even seem to get the AMC app to load on their phones.

Some who have managed to snag some tickets are now looking to cash in on the high demand by offering their Endgame tickets on eBay and for a lot more than they paid for them. Some re-sellers are asking $100, others as much as $500 just for a single ticket. Others have opted to start bidding wars, with tickets starting at $45 and $50. See for yourself:

Clearly, people are excited to see this movie. The only thing I’m wondering at this point “Are people actually going to pay these prices?” I look forward to finding out the closer we get to Avengers: Endgame!

Avengers: Endgame is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and stars stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, and Bradley Cooper, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Josh Brolin. What do you make of this story? Do you think it’s fair that some people are over-valuing Avengers: Endgame tickets simply because many can’t get their hands on them? Would you drop this kind of green for a ticket? Sound off in the comments below and let me know what you think!
