Cillian Murphy is in talks to join Emily Blunt in Paramount’s upcoming sequel to A Quiet Place.

This story comes to us courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter. The outlet is also reporting that kid stars Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe are also returning to round out the Abbott family, who are still fighting for their lives against creatures with hypersensitive hearing.

Plot details are being kept on the hush-hush, however, THR contends that their sources say that Cillian Murphy will portray “a man with mysterious intentions who joins the family unit.”

The film is slated to begin shooting this summer with John Krasinski once again seated in the director’s chair.

Cillian Murphy stared as crime boss Thomas Shelby in BBC’s Peaky Blinders, a historical crime drama. He is also a frequent collaborator of Christopher Nolan’s, having appeared in his Batman trilogy, Inception and Dunkirk.
