Another major Hollywood star is about to suit up for the superhero genre.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, Angelina Jolie is in talks to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe with The Eternals.
THR states that not much is currently know about the film’s plot; however, the outlet is reporting that their sources have learned about one aspect of the story:
“…the story involves the love story between Ikaris, a man fueled by cosmic energy, and Sersi, who relishes moving amongst humans.”
No word yet on who Angelina Jolie is playing as Marvel Studios had no comment on the matter.
The Eternals is being directed by The Rider‘s Chloe Zhao from a script by Matthew and Ryan Firpo.
Angelina Jolie can be seen next in Disney’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, which was recently bumped up to a release date this fall.
