Warner Bros. is currently re-developing the age-less thriller Methusaleh, now with Michael B. Jordan tapped to star.
The news comes to us courtesy of Deadline, which is reporting that Michael B. Jordan will play a man who has managed to stay alive for over 400 years. The Black Panther star will also co-produce the venture through his Outlier Society production company.
Deadline describes the project:
“The idea is for Jordan to play a man who has managed to survive for hundreds of years, without showing the physical signs of age. In that time, he has accumulated vast intellectual knowledge, from multiple languages to the sciences, as well as survival skills.”
WB has been trying to get Methusaleh off the ground for years. In that time, a myriad of writers and potential leading actors have come and gone in that time, including Tom Cruise.
It was recently announced that Michael B. Jordan will produce a Detroit-based creature feature from Kong: Skull Island director Jordan Vogt-Roberts. He is also attached to star in and produce Denzel Washington’s next directorial effort, Journal for Jordan.
