You might have forgotten that Annabelle 3 is set to hit theaters in just a few short months. Despite this, we have not yet seen or heard much of anything about the film, until now.
According to Deadline, the third film in the Annabelle franchise, and sixth in The Conjuring universe, is going to be called Annabelle Comes Home. The Conjuring director and universe producer James Wan has described the project as a horror take on Night at the Museum, with the creepy doll awakening the evil of all the totems inside the Warren’s artifact room.
Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprise their roles as Ed and Lorraine Warren and McKenna Grace (House On Haunted Hill) will star as their daughter.
Annabelle Comes Home will be directed by Gary Dauberman, who is making his feature directorial debut with the film but has seen some success in the genre, having co-written the first two Annabelle films as well as 2017’s IT and this year’s IT: Chapter 2.
Annabelle Comes Home releases on June 28, 2019.
