Last night, the Cinema Audio Society held their 55th annual awards ceremony and recognized achievements in audio for films of 2018. As is the case with most of the other guilds in the industry, CAS recognizes achievements in their field for areas outside of film; however, I have included only the three film-related categories in order to keep the focus mostly sharp on this film blog. In each category will be included all the nominees with the winner bolded and highlighted in red.
