Speaking at the Television Critics Association Press Tour, CBS All Access Executive Vice President of Original Content Julie McNamara let it be known that the all-new Twilight Zone series will launch April 1st of this year.
No joke.
That Monday will see not one, but two full episodes drop with new episodes added every Thursday.
Academy Award-winning Writer Jordan Peele will executive produce the show in addition to stepping into Rod Serling’s shoes as the narrator/host.
While a lot of the cast and crew are being kept under wraps, we do know that at least some of the episodes will feature actors like Jacob Tremblay, Adam Scott, John Cho, Steven Yeun, Taissa Farmiga, Barinholtz and Kumail Nanjiani.
The Twilight Zone will be available in North America exclusively via CBS All Access. The streaming service is already home to Star Trek: Discovery with another Star Trek series featuring Patrick Stewart’s Jean-Luc Picard expected later this year.
