The Twilight Zone first aired back in 1959. It’s since inspired a number of anthology television series, including another classic in The Outer Limits, which premiered just four years later. Fortunately, the time gap between the two series getting contemporary overhauls is much smaller.

Today the classics branch of Kino Lorber (a home entertainment distributor) officially announced HD transfers for both the original first and second seasons of The Outer Limits. Each season will be sold separately but both will be available on Blu-ray as well as DVD and will include a smattering of bonus content (which you can dissect in more detail below).

Look for season one to hit store shelves on March 27th with season two tentatively scheduled to drop sometime this Fall.

Interested? Pre-order season one Blu-ray or DVD.
